A number of Zombophiles think otherwise; after several gruesome attacks. A guy in Florida ate another man’s face. A Texas mother ate half her baby. Some scientist in NJ cut himself open and threw his own intestines at police… all following a completely unrelated rash at a Florida school.
Clearly Rudy Eugine (the face eater) was an authentic zombie; he stripped naked, began eating a man’s face and eyes, did not respond to police intervention, snarled or growled at police, didn’t respond to being shot… After a number of shots, the police killed him. But these other cannibals are just riding the gruesome Zombie trend… Look, turning into a Zombie is permanent! You end up either shot in the head or in the sequels, but never writing out a confession at police headquarters. C’mon, watch 28 Days later!
The experts are blaming bath salts (a legal meth-like substance), but the explanation falls short. Bath salts are not new (at least a year old, maybe more), but the wave of Zombie and Zombie-like attacks have just surfaced. Did bath salts suddenly change? Are the guys in charge afraid to say, “It’s probably not a Zombie Doomsday, but we don’t know what it is yet.”
My theory is Government and the CDC has no idea whatsoever why people are suddenly acting violent and insane in Zombie-like ways. Blaming bath salts gets people worried about banning bath salts (already on the DEA agenda) while buying scientists time to find the cause. Truth be told, though, the CDC was right in the Zombie Preparedness campaign; prepare for disasters. Better to have and not need then need and not have. The unprepared and unlucky will be eaten first, just like the movies.
